A new article with lots of exciting information about my personal life, a new venture in Australia as well as my latest music video release ‘Warala Sara’ was released to the public via the ‘Pinipalasa’ section of the ‘Aruna’ Newspaper on the 3rd of September 2021. If you want to have a peek into my personal and daily life as well as the direction of my music career, I welcome you to read it as soon as possible. My latest Audio ‘Warala Sara’ made in collaboration with Dr Rohana Weerasinghe was officially released to the public today on Shree FM at 12.30 PM via ‘Saga Ekka Sri Ahanna’ program. This release was made in conjunction with the official lyrical video released on my youtube channel at YouTube.com/saheligamage. Special thanks to Saga for the invitation to be featured in his program.

After several years of working in Canada, I was finally made the decision to join the team at Darling Downs Health Services, Queensland, Australia as a Medical Officer. Despite my busy schedule, I am determined to elevate my music career to the next level with more collaborations and new releases. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.

This is the cover of one of my all-time favourite songs by the songstress, Nanda Malini decorated by the music wizardry of Dr Rohana Weerasinghe. My cover was specially made at the request of the writer of the song, Prof. Carlo Fonseka and his wish to feature his granddaughter Tarja De Silva in the music video. Tarja, Bharatha and the family of Prof. Carlo has helped me immensely to make the video success and I hope we made proper justice to the original song and fulfilled the dream of Prof. Carlo Fonseka.

After much thought, we have finally decided to create a new YouTube channel to give you all a glimpse of our daily lives. We will be focusing on updating the channel weekly with cooking content, travels and other exciting stuff that would not otherwise fit my main YouTube channel. The ‘My Wish Foundation’ was launched on 03rd of August 2009 at Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo, Sri Lanka as the sister organisation of the recently established UK charity ‘My Wish’. I was invited to join the talented dancers of the Budwatte Dancing Academy for an exclusive performance for distinguished guests.

Several artists including myself were honoured by the State Film Corporation at the ‘Jothi Rathriya’ Memorial Festival held at the Elphinstone Theatre Colombo under the patronage of Cultural Affairs and National Heritage Minister Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena on July 7 at 6 pm.
